Marlissa Karpeh MA, ATR-P, Provisional Registered Art Therapist and Clinical Mental Health Therapist, joined the clinic in 2026 and provides services via telehealth.  She approaches healing through a relational, strength-based, and culturally responsive lens.  She views therapy as tending a garden supporting clients in clearing what no longer serves them while nurturing insight, resilience, and growth.

Marlissa specializes in working with youth, adolescents, immigrants, and women of color, with a focus on depression, anxiety, grief, childhood trauma, identity development, and life transitions.  She believes healing does not happen in isolation and emphasizes the importance of connection, community, and a strong therapeutic relationship.

Her approach is grounded in Adlerian theory and integrates person-centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), narrative therapy, and creative/art-based interventions.  Marlissa brings warmth, thoughtful humor, and creativity into the therapeutic space to help clients reconnect with their inner voice and move toward meaningful change.

Marlissa holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Adler Graduate School and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from St. Cloud State University.  She is a Registered Art Therapist-Provisional (ATR-P) and provides therapy services to residents of Minnesota.
