The nature of this workshop is a collaborative and engaging small group.  Part of the purpose of the workshop is to support those clinicians who are developing their intuition in their clinical work or would like to develop their intuition.  An important part of becoming more conscious of using intuition is to have the intuitive process validated, interpreted, and for the therapist to feel like they can be open about their process without feeling self-conscious.  When the therapist has a strong conviction that what they are sensing is real, the intuitive process is better received by others.

The objective of this workshop is to assist the therapist in gaining a deeper understanding of how we receive information using self of therapist and intuition, that is relevant to family systems and the therapy process.  Participants will learn how to understand and incorporate their full use of self when working with clients.  We will address getting out of our own way and allowing metaphors to emerge.  Participants will explore the emotional world of the therapist and learn how to interpret intuitive information and discern which information is appropriate to share and of mutual benefit to the therapy process as well as the client. This workshop will incorporate case consult and exercises to practice using intuition with clients.
