Lauren Fullerton, MS, LADC is a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor and is completing her licensure for Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor under the supervision of Jesse Kardong, MA, LMFT. Lauren joined the clinic in 2018 and is located at the White Bear Lake-Getty Building office. Lauren is committed to offering an understanding, safe, supportive, and collaborative environment. She believes that you, as the client, know yourself best and empowers you to find your voice and create changes to overcome obstacles. She works with clients to navigate the roads of change and to find a life that is fulfilling. Lauren believes that awareness is essential, and collaborates with clients to explore recurring patterns of thoughts and behaviors. She incorporates mindfulness based skills in session to create a more powerful connection between the mind and body. She believes that with this knowledge about self, one can find inner peace and self-acceptance.
Lauren has an undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Stout and a Masters Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a focus in Alcohol and Other Drug Addictions, also from the University of Wisconsin-Stout. Lauren has experience and specializes with co-occurring substance use and mental health issues and works with adolescents and individual adults. Her specialty areas include depression, anxiety, anger management, domestic violence, and behavioral modification.
Lauren enjoys getting outside to kayak, hike, and backpack. In the winters, she enjoys skiing, ice skating, and ice fishing. She also enjoys reading, playing board games, and traveling as often as she can.
