Jesse Kardong, MA, LMFT is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and joined the clinic in 2020. Jesse is a Telehealth Only Therapist, providing specialized therapy services to residents living in the state of Minnesota. Jesse works with adults who experience anxiety conditions such as social anxiety, panic attacks, phobias, generalized anxiety, and obsessive-compulsive disorder. While he primarily uses cognitive-behavioral therapy, Jesse collaborates with each client to create an individual plan that may incorporate other evidence-based approaches. He believes that the client and clinician are partners throughout the therapy process; clients are the experts in their own life experiences and goals for therapy, while clinicians provide empathy, information, and support to help clients achieve their goals.
Jesse has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Master of Arts Degree in Counseling Psychology/Certificate in Family Psychology from the University of Saint Thomas. Prior to entering private practice, he worked in public schools, treatment facilities, emergency shelters, and clients' homes.
Jesse is an Approved Supervisor by the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy, the Minnesota Board of Marriage and Family Therapy, and the Minnesota Board of Behavioral Health and Therapy. He offers clinical supervision to individuals working toward Minnesota LMFT or LPCC licensure.
Jesse is currently accepting new clients.
