Briana Osterman, MA,  joined the clinic in 2022 and is located at the Golden Valley office.  Briana received her Masters Degree in Counseling and Psychological Services from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota.  Briana previously graduated from Luther College in 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology.   Briana is working towards licensure as a Professional Counselor under the supervision of Sonya Knudson, Psy.D, Licensed Psychologist.  Briana offers counseling services for couples and families, individual adults,  and adolescents.  Briana's prior experience includes in-home services, Social Work in a Healthcare setting, and Mental Health Case Management for individuals with Serious and Persistent Mental Illness.  Briana has worked primarily with adults (18+) in outpatient and inpatient mental health settings.  

Briana aspires to be an inclusive counselor, welcoming any who identify as LGBTQ+ and supports raising awareness of racial justice.  She strives for a collaborative, non-judgemental, and holistic approach and will prioritize your needs to assure your well-being is met.  Briana works with individuals on a wide range of concerns including relationship issues, family dynamics, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, life transitions, trauma, and stress management.  Briana is committed to working collaboratively with you to find your existing strengths, and providing you with new skills to help manage your symptoms more effectively.  Another key to Briana's approach is by providing a safe space for her clients, particularly those who have experienced abuse, trauma, or neglect.  Time off for Briana and her family typically include dog parks, bike rides, and trips to the cabin up north.
