Becca Manthe, MA, LAMFT, ATR, (she/her/hers) Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist and Registered Art Therapist who joined the Golden Valley location in 2022. A graduate of Adler Graduate School (2023), she specializes in eco-arts climate-aware therapy.
Therapy sessions focus on holistic healing, incorporating creative arts, music, movement, and nature. Becca utilizes contemporary frameworks and methods, including the Expressive Therapies Continuum, Polyvagal Theory, Systems Theory, mindfulness practices, Nonviolent Communication, EFT tapping, and more to support clients in achieving their treatment goals.
Becca offers strengths-based, eco-centric, neurodivergent-affirming, and LGBTQAI-affirming care for individuals (ages 8+), couples, families, and groups. Her expertise covers traditional mental health concerns alongside specialized support for eco-anxiety, climate grief, and polycrisis distress. Supervised by Heather Hessel, Ph.D, LMFT, Becca provides services outdoors and via telehealth.
Beyond her clinical work, Becca is an advocate for the intersection of climate change and mental health. She founded Nature-Connected Professionals MN (ncp.earth), a professional networking and community group for those who center nature in their work, and she provides ecological stress & grief workshops for Minnesota agricultural workers in Minnesota (email connect@ncp.earth to schedule). She is the Minnesota Regional Coordinator for the Climate Psychology Alliance of North America (beccamanthe@climatepsychology.us), and an active participant on the CPA-NA Agricultural Committee.
