The easiest way to schedule is to view the therapist photos/availability on the therapist by location page, as our therapists are all independent contractors. Click on the therapist photos to get to the bio page. The direct contact information for each therapist is listed on the bottom of their bio page. Due to very busy schedules, we are requesting that new clients contact the therapists directly. You can also fill out the contact us page, and someone will get back to you with therapist options. Mari Ringness, MS, LPC is a Licensed Professional Counselor and joined the clinic in 2021. She is located at the Pine City location. Prior to entering private practice, Mari provided counseling services to children and families in a school setting for 15 years as a School Counselor. Her counseling approach is from a holistic perspective focusing on mind, body, and spirit. She uses strength based, solution focused, and cognitive behavioral techniques in her practice. Mari utilizes an active, collaborative process focusing on client resilience, motivation, and self compassion to foster positive change. Mari will hold space for you in a non-judgmental, empathetic, and kind approach, while also helping to keep you accountable for the changes that you would to like to see. Mari enjoys working with women of all ages, children/adolescents, individuals, and families. Specialty areas include anxiety, depression, life transitions, trauma, ADHD, self-esteem and career counseling. Mari is trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Training), which is a trauma modality. Whatever your current situation is, Mari will walk beside you on your journey so that you can experience the joy that life has for you.
Mari has a Bachelor's of Science Degree from the University of Wisconsin-Stout and a Master's Degree in Counseling Education from the University of Concordia Wisconsin.
When not in the office, Mari enjoys being out with nature, connecting to her spirituality/faith, spending time with her family and friends, and living an active, healthy lifestyle which includes; biking, hiking, kayaking, swimming in the lake, and cross country skiing.
