Jenna Leirmoe, MS, LPCC is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. Jenna joined the clinic in 2018 and is located both at the North Branch office and the Golden Valley office. Please note that Jenna sees children ages 5-12 at the North Branch office as well as individual adults. She only sees adults at the Golden Valley office. Jenna follows a humanistic approach that aims to meet her clients where they are in their healing journey by using a wide variety of approaches including: Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, creating awareness, mindfulness, self-compassion, and resilience building. Jenna works with individual adults and also specializes in treating children ages 5-12 and their families in building trusting relationships that promote healthy emotional regulation, safe boundaries, positive relationships, increased self-esteem, and resiliency. Jenna works with Depression, Anxiety, Work-life Balance/Stress, Relationship Issues, Behavioral Issues, Anger Management, ADHD, Autism, Self-Esteem, School Issues, Peer Relationships, and Family Conflict.
Jenna has an undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado and a Masters degree in Mental Health Counseling from Capella University. Prior to private practice, Jenna was an elementary therapist at a Child and Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Day Treatment community based program, where she had over 3 years post graduate experience. Jenna also has experience in mental health hospital settings, primarily working with acute crisis management and residential placement with children and adolescents. She is passionate about ensuring that her clients feel heard. Jenna works together with her clients and their families to build a collaborative relationship that promotes strength and healing.
