Becky Krenz-Roe, MA, LMFT joined the clinic in 2019 and is located at the Golden Valley office. She is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in both Minnesota and Wisconsin. Becky enjoys guiding individuals, couples, and families on a path to greater peace, security, and connection in their lives by working together to utilize concrete tools people can use to change patterns and understand themselves and others from a fresh perspective. The ultimate goal of her work is to harness the power of connection-to ourselves, our families and friends, our community, nature and our world-as a powerful path toward truth and healing.
Becky believes that our own bodies can be valuable sources of information to help us identify and process feelings, building a greater sense of "grounded-ness" and safety that can help discover new insights, grow and move forward. She enjoys creating experiences that can include art, music, writing, dance or yoga, to jumpstart growth and bring the whole self and body into the experience of healing. Becky has holistic training in the treatment of trauma as well as specific training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, which is an evidence-based treatment for children, adolescents and their caregivers who have experienced trauma.
Becky holds an undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of Wisconsin and a Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Appalachian State University. She has 13 years of experience providing therapy in a variety of settings including wilderness therapy, residential treatment, and a children's hospital clinic.
Becky especially welcomes working with parents navigating family challenges; parents of children with chronic illness; couples seeking greater connection in their relationship; and individual adults or adolescents seeking healing and greater freedom from anxiety, depression, or trauma.
Becky currently has limited availability for new clients.
